Problem:

The original partners of Score had a great concept for a gaming lounge, but were having difficulty executing their idea. They were already very behind schedule and over their estimated budget. All three partners were pulled in many different directions in an attempt to coordinate the logistics of setting up the business, scheduling contractors, and meeting with businesses to form partnerships. With a small staff and limited time, the partners were concerned about their lack of attention to marketing. They had not yet developed a plan for entering the market or even the fundamentals of designing a logo and a color scheme. While their concept was excellent, competition in the market was fierce and they needed an expertly-branded campaign and a strong grand opening event to begin generating word of mouth.

Solution:

We took the challenge knowing that we were fighting the clock on a budget. Without wasting any time, we began researching the market and the competition by extensively surveying the target client population using surveys and focus groups and by visiting similar lounges. We identified logical and implementable methods to truly stand out from the competition while still appealing to the target market. Based on further research, we established the price point and our positioning in the market and moved forward with designing a corporate identity to match this position. We created several marketing concepts that we implemented in all of our advertising campaigns and built partnerships with complimenting businesses that expedited spreading the word about Score’s opening to potential customers. Score opened successfully and continues to be one of our greatest customers. Today, we are proud to say that they are the leading gaming lounge, in terms of quality, profitability, and reputation, in the country of Jordan.
