Elliott grew up in Salt Lake City after his family immigrated here from Mexico at the age of 5. Surrounded by a strong, supportive community, he developed an outgoing, people-oriented personality early on. He’s always viewed people as stories waiting to be uncovered, which explains both his love for conversation and his natural ability to build relationships across all types of businesses and personalities.
Entrepreneurship has been part of Elliott’s life since his early teens. Known among friends and peers as someone who always had a new idea in motion, he spent his high school years running small businesses and side ventures, eventually forming his own LLC. What began as a resale operation evolved into wholesale sourcing and manufacturing relationships, giving Elliott firsthand experience with margins, supply chains, branding, and the realities of building a business from the ground up. Those experiences taught him lessons no classroom could (often through costly mistakes) and shaped his belief that real growth comes from curiosity, adaptability, and execution.
Elliott pursued marketing management in college as a way to expand his entrepreneurial skill set rather than follow a traditional business path. What drew him to marketing was discovering that it is not guesswork or trend-chasing, but a discipline grounded in research, strategy, and consistency. With a background in graphic design and a strong appreciation for systems and structure, Elliott learned to approach marketing the same way he approached design: understand the principles first, then apply them intentionally to achieve meaningful results.
Before joining the Twist Lab team, Elliott’s experience spanned small business ownership, banking, and sales. These roles strengthened his ability to communicate professionally, understand financial realities, and connect with clients in a way that feels genuine and approachable. Today, as an Account Manager at Twist Lab, Elliott serves as the bridge between clients and the internal team. He specializes in translating everyday business conversations into clear, actionable steps, ensuring expectations are aligned and clients feel supported in every part of the process. Known internally as the “call me anytime” guy, Elliott prides himself on being accessible, transparent, and reliable.
Elliott is deeply motivated by helping small businesses uncover blind spots and gain clarity around their marketing efforts. He believes strong marketing should empower business owners with understanding, not overwhelm them with jargon. His approach centers on education, trust, and research-driven strategy, helping clients move forward with confidence instead of guesswork.
Outside of work, Elliott continues to pursue creative and entrepreneurial interests, particularly in fashion and design, where he enjoys sewing and building original concepts from the ground up. He’s fascinated by brands that turn simple ideas into culture and community, and he brings that same mindset into his work at Twist Lab, helping businesses grow not just through marketing, but through meaningful connection.
